House of Schwarzkopf Professional Salon

Client: Henkel / Schwarzkopf

Location: Berlin, Germany.

In an innovative move Henkel have opened an experience store in Berlin’s Mitte borough.

It tells the story of the Schwarzkopf hair and beauty brands with an introduction to the long history of the business stretching back more than a century.

AOI were asked to bring their expertise to the creation of a Schwarzkopf Professional Salon in the first-floor space above the main store.

Despite many limitations and structural difficulties, the salon has emerged chrysalis like into a sleek and colourful interpretation of a salon that doubles as a pop up for visiting experts and a space for small consumer events.
