Client: Schwarzkopf Henkel

Location: Brussels, Belgium.

This Academy illustrates a relocation from a central city location to a shared HQ building in a business park.

Working with a tight budget, AOI focussed on the industrial feel of the stripped-out shell of the raw building, restricting materials to porcelain floor tiles, glass, concrete and painted steel.

The main space is divided by folding walls to accommodate practical training, seminars and theatre presentations.  Services are all on display against the concrete slab above.

Collaboration with the client was excellent, the outcome has been very favourably reviewed and the whole project is a great example of working in partnership to allow design development to grow and develop together.
