Our brief was to create a light, transparent, colourful space created through modular design.

The modules would be made in Germany / UK and ship globally giving quality and price control. 

The proposed pods would have integrated lighting and sound and would be divided into two types - Analytical and Colour, each with distinctive qualities that made them different.

As part of the layout plan, the storefront would not display any retail, but would be inviting and welcoming through graphics, information and customer-controlled screens and the welcome area would be seen as a relaxed informal space, warm, friendly, clean and simple, classic furniture, buzzy but quiet.

SKP Hair Shop

We were commissioned to design a ground floor, premium retail space with an area of 100 - 200m2.

The brief wanted to attract end consumers to get access to professional haircare ranges including tools as well as a SKP analyser (digital tool for hair quality measurement) linked to iPad and or virtual mirror screen to display outcomes of digital consultation.

As part of the layout, we've proposed a colour consultation space storing various colour consultation tools (e.g. colour shade guides) with iPad and/or virtual mirror connected to web, wash basin(s) for delivery of professional hair care services linked to retail sales, a pop up salon, an area for product sales and displays / pay and wrap, big screens to entertain / inform, customised products / packaging, mixing and testing products, experience and brandscapes and a Café.
