Montserrat Road, London SW15 was developed in the 1880’s. Number 30 was completed in 1889 in the typical Victorian style of slate roof, brick elevations, rendered mouldings, sash windows and surrounding garden enclosed with brick walls and (now) privet hedges.

 In 2018 when planning the renovation started it was a rather tired family house needing a complete makeover and more substantial work to extend it and replace all the services, along the way replacing original cornices and covings, fitting out new bathrooms, a new kitchen and fixing some serious structural issues.

We added a 7 x 11 metre family room / kitchen at the back, two ensuite bedrooms above (bringing the total to six) outside terracing, off-street parking and a replanted garden.

The style of the restoration is very simple -  white walls, oak floors, plain tiling and white shutters.

On site works were heavily delayed by Covid and lockdown with completion happening in February 2023!
